Happy Saturday! It is Super Bowl weekend!
To be honest, I don't follow football, or organized sports, to be honest... But, what kind of San Franciscan would I be if I didn't show a little love to the 49ers?
I'm not a fan of red and gold together, so instead of wearing a red and gold outfit, I decided to put a splash of it on my nails.
I know it's not perfect, but I tried and I think it's not horrible for an amateur. =]

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
(I love this stuff, creates smooth surface, shiny finish, and it really does dry fast! Before Seche Vite, I didn't even bother with top coat.)
As for MUA nail polishes, so far...I am not a fan. When MUA was having 20% off their website and free shipping for their Friends & Family sale, I decided to try a couple of nail polishes. Both of them had somewhat of a messed up brush. I don't know if you can tell below, but the bristles are pretty fanned out awkwardly and some of the bristles stick out in different directions.
I don't see why that should happen, since the brush is just resting in the bottle and not being pressed against anything. Since the brush sucks, it can be very, very streaky if not applied carefully. Luckily, the Seche Vite is pretty good at fixing that up.
The color opacity is decent, if not average. 2-3 coats suffices. But in the picture, I thought this would be a deep dark red, but it comes out more like a bright red. The color does darken up if you pile on the coats. I know for 1 British pound, I shouldn't expect too much, but a lot of people gave the MUA nail polishes positive feedback.
Anyways, good luck to the 49ers and have fun to the football fans out there!
